Athens is amazing and I highly recommend them for your next move. The receptionist, Matthew, did a great job gathering info about my needs and informing me of the process. I was moving a full living room set, Queen bedroom set, several other random pieces of furniture, and about 10 boxed from an apartment to a 10x10 storage space. My movers, Zak, Johny, and Dannie, were very professional, worked very effectively as a team, and made quick work of my move. Zak wrapped all of my furniture in plastic to keep it clean and safe during the trip and in storage, while Johny and Dannie moved everything out to the truck. I did not think all of my items would fit in the unit but Zak did a wonderful job taking full advantage of the small space (I’ll attach a photo, it was wild). With the 35 minute drive time between places, they completed my move in 2.33 hours. The total was just under 500$, which is a steal when you consider the 26’ truck, supplies, labor, and expertise. 10/10 company and employees.

We had a wonderful experience working with Athens Moving Experts on our recent move (July 2025). Alex, Ben, and Johny were kind and courteous with a great sense of humor. They handled our furniture and boxes with care, navigating tight spaces, staircases, and heavy pieces. This was our second time using Athen’s Moving company and I honestly can’t say enough words to say how professional and hardworking this company is. We had Ibrahim, Freddie, Dionte for both our loading and unloading throughout this process. Couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle our moving. This is our second time using Athens Moving Experts. Ibrahim, Freddie, and Jarel helped us move furniture from one house to another 3 hours away. These three guys were so efficient, organized, strong, and nice. We had an antique grandfather clock that we removed the chimes and pendulum from. They bubble wrapped the chimes in blankets and secured safely in the truck. The treated all the furniture with the same care. Everything arrived safely and securely. They unwrapped the furniture on arrival and confirmed all was ok. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone in the area.
