As is everyday that we wake up with breath in our lungs, TODAY IS A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE! Some days are better than others, but it is important to never lose sight of the bigger picture: it could always be worse, and TOMORROW IS NOT GUARANTEED! Since tomorrow is not guaranteed, why not make the most of today? Why not start RIGHT NOW working towards your goal? Tomorrow may never come, but this moment, right here & right now, might make the difference in where you are tomorrow. Of course, as they say, “Rome wasn’t built in a day” or overnight, and obviously excellence tends to take time – but time (just like tomorrow) is not guaranteed and we must capitalize on the current moment, and the next moment, and the one after that, until eventually goals are met, dreams are fulfilled, and generational change is achieved through positive growth.
We understand that everyone faces their own unique struggles, and most importantly it is near impossible to tell what a person has seen by looking into their eyes, what a person has walked through by checking out their shoes, or what burdens one carries daily by the shirt on their back – so it is up to us, individually, to treat everyone with respect and collectively create a better tomorrow, today!
As a family that we have become at AME, we take it upon ourselves to push each other to become better. To pursue self-improvement and individual dreams, having perpetual faith in each other and our ability to achieve whatever we set our minds to, both individually and together, as a family. If one of us is down, three of us reach out a hand; if one of us eats, everybody grabs a plate. It is just the way we operate, the Coco Way.
Today, we were blessed with two new trucks; not our first two, and far from the last two – we were simply blessed with two new, beautiful, fully functioning, yet-to-be-wrapped 26 foot freightliner box trucks. And we owe it to our community. We owe our continued growth to the strong, close knit group of hard working guys who show up everyday with a smile on their face ready to tackle each day’s job. We owe it to our customers, who continue to share their positive experiences with friends, family, and online for strangers to see. And we owe all praise to the most high! Without any of these factors, we might not have been able to achieve our current accomplishments.
Not too long ago, our current fleet of trucks seemed like a longshot, something that may take years to accomplish. Here are five things we stick to, to help us keep moving forward:
- put one foot in front of the other, left then right, left then right, and never miss a beat
- appreciate every day as the blessing it is, utilizing each 24 hours as an opportunity to get better
- surround yourself with a group of positive individuals, who genuinely care
- appreciate each interaction with friends and family, & never take a moment for granted
- NEVER, EVER GIVE UP BECAUSE THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!
SINCE TOMORROW IS NOT GUARANTEED, AND YESTERDAY IS IN THE PAST, LET’S USE TODAY AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE AND APPRECIATE THAT NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH, IT IS ALWAYS A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE!
